My name is Bobby MacDonald, but most people within the Destiny Community know me as Guardian Photographer. I share photos of iconic and memorable destinations within the Destiny universe on Twitter and Instagram.

I began shooting Photography in 2014 during my time at Community College. During this time I took multiple photography courses that helped build the foundation for my photography skillset. I later transferred to CSU Dominguez Hills, where I graduated with a B.A. in Digital Media Arts.

I began playing the Destiny series with the Destiny First Look Alpha back in June 2014. Until the release of the Shadowkeep expansion, I played on PlayStation 4 but switched to PC with the introduction of Cross-Save. It was there that I began shooting Virtual Photography of Destiny 2. My shots were for personal use at first, but after the Covid-19 pandemic hit I wanted to become more creative with my photos and share them with the Destiny Community.

I launched my Instagram in June 2020 and Twitter/X in May 2021. Both have been incredible journeys that have allowed me to be creative with the universe the team at Bungie has given us.

In September 2021 I was a guest on Episode 111 of Guardian Down Cast, a Destiny Podcast that hosts guests and creators from the Destiny Community. In December 2021, I helped the Bungie Foundation raise over $1,400 during their Game2Give ‘21 Fundraiser.
